Within today’s rapidly shifting music landscape, one thing I stand firmly against is the rise of SUNO‑generated “artists.” Creating music through that platform is, in my view, a far greater disservice to the art form than performers who mime on stage. It strips away the human craft, the struggle, the creativity, and the emotional truth that real artists pour into their work. Equally concerning is the growing trend of individuals buying their way into artist or music management roles despite having no genuine understanding of music beyond the most basic level. This is unfair to artists, who deserve experienced guidance rather than being used as vehicles for opportunists seeking a quick profit. The music industry thrives when real talent is supported by real expertise — anything less undermines the integrity of the art and the careers of those who devote their lives to it.
